Unlocking Financial Dignity for Women in Rural UP
In many semi-urban and rural clusters surrounding Lucknow, women lack access to formal skill education, keeping them financially dependent and vulnerable. The Women Empowerment & Vocational Skill Centers established by ITLC Foundation offer free, comprehensive vocational training designed to foster sustainable self-employment.
Pathways to Independence
- Professional Tailoring & Textile Design: 6-month intensive diploma courses covering pattern cutting, stitching, and modern garment finishing, equipped with professional sewing machines.
- Digital Literacy & Basic Computing: Equipping young girls and women with fundamental computer skills, online banking knowledge, and digital literacy required for modern administrative jobs.
- Self-Help Groups (SHGs) & Market Links: We help women establish local SHGs, access formal micro-credit, and connect with retail exhibitions and bulk handicraft buyers to sell finished goods at fair market rates.
