Compassion on the Streets: Protecting Vulnerable Animals
Stray dogs and abandoned community cattle on the bustling streets of Uttar Pradesh face constant hazards: fast vehicular traffic, road accidents, seasonal starvation, and untreated maggot wounds. ITLC Foundation's Animal Rescue & Emergency Welfare Program bridges this critical care gap.
Life-Saving Direct Interventions
- Rapid On-Site First Aid: Our mobile rescue volunteers respond to distress calls involving hit-and-run road accidents, cleaning wounds, administering pain relief, and coordinating emergency veterinary clinic care.
- Reflective Safety Collars: During dense winter fog across Lucknow and peripheral highways, highway visibility plunges. We fit high-grade retro-reflective safety collars on street dogs and cattle, slashing nighttime road accidents by over 70%.
- Daily Community Feeding Network: Dedicated volunteer routes ensure clean water bowls and warm, nutritious meals (boiled rice, bone broth, eggs) reach street animals every single day.
