Illuminating Young Minds Through Quality Education
Children of migrant laborers, street vendors, and slum dwellers in Lucknow often face overwhelming barriers to education: crowded living conditions, lack of parental literacy, and expensive school stationery that lead to early dropouts. ITLC Foundation's Education Support Program ensures that every child receives the foundation they need to thrive.
Comprehensive Educational Intervention
- Evening Remedial Learning Centers: Free, safe study centers run by trained educators and university volunteers, focusing on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN).
- School Kit & Uniform Distribution: Providing durable backpacks, notebooks, stationery sets, geometry kits, and school uniforms so no child feels excluded in class.
- RTE Admission Facilitation: Helping illiterate parents navigate government Right to Education (RTE) admission portals and obtain mandatory Aadhaar and income paperwork.
- Daily Nutritional Support: Every remedial session concludes with healthy, protein-rich snacks and clean drinking water to combat chronic childhood malnutrition.
